Does anyone know of any bacteria that lack any of the major metabolic pathways (i.e. glycolysis, krebs cycle, electron transport chain, chemiosmosis, ED pathway, fermentation) any help would be great!
Bacteria that lack metabolic pathways?
Most bacteria lack Krebs, electron transport chain.
However, they use variations of glycolysis or fermentation.
