Health question !BACTERIA!?
(1) the symbiotic nature of the bacteria in the soil with a number of plants is due to the bacteria breaking down potentially damaging metabolic products exuded by the plant.

(2) tuberculosis caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculi, Campylobacterosis usually symptoms include vomitting and Diarrhea caused by Campylobacter jejuni and Campylobacter coli and meningitis caused by the bacteria Neissaria menigitides this may be fatal.

(3) adeqaute nutrients being present in the media to allow for a primary glucose source.

(4) A petri dish is a container in which bacterial media agar may be placed this can then be inoculated with bacterial culture and incubated. Modern petri dishes are now pre-packed and sterile designed for use only once.

(5) the effect of temperature on bacteria is dependant on the bacteria which is being cultured, although most bacteria do have a number of mechanisms which allow them to survive below there optimum growing temperature they simply do not replicate or do so at a reduced rate. this is evident in the case of Listeria monocytogenes which has an optimum growth temeprature in lab conditions of 37 degrees celsius however the disease caused by this bacteria is found mainly in soft cheeses stored at fridge temerature of 4 degrees celsius. an increase in the temerature above 55 degrees often leads to the rupture of the cell membrane and causes apoptosis ( cell death), this is not true in the case of the thermophillic bacteria which have adjusted to high temperature.
