H papilloma bacteria?

Is H papilloma bacteria the same thing as hpV?

My husband was having really bad pains in his stomache, diarrhea, and loss of appitite and he went to the doctor and she did a blood test that sais he had a bacteria in his stomache. She said it sometimes causes ulcers. But when he got home and told me what she said he couldnt remember what the bacteria was called. We went to the doctor today and she said it was called H Papilloma. Now that I am home and realized what she said it was called I'm freaking out because of all I've about HPV.

HELP! I'm all confused and I'm not finding anything on the bacteria but I am finding it on the virus and what I'm finding Im freaking out over!!!!

H papilloma bacteria?
Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is an infection in the stomach and upper part of the small intestine. This is most likely what the doctor was talking about. H. pylori can cause peptic ulcers; however, most people with H. pylori in their digestive systems do not develop ulcers. Click the link to this site to learn more.

Reply:I believe HPV is only a virus, not a bacteria.
Reply:HPV is genetal warts. You'll know if he's got it.
Reply:No honey, she said H. Pylori.
Reply:Helicobacter pylori is the bacteria your husband has in his stomach, We all have this bacteria, 80% of the worlds drinking water has it. Now when the levels of this bacteria increases it can produce ulcers in the stomach or even cancer.

HPV is a virus most commonly passed by sexual intercourse.
Reply:H Papilloma virus and yes your right on the HPV part. It can be treated. And yes, it can and often does cause ulcers. I was treated for it and have had no problems since and that was over 6 years ago.
